Yay for poorely written Japanese stories!

So I had to write a journal entry for my Japanese class. So, instead of the usual journal about my daily life, my fall break, or even pets, I wrote a story about a turtle and a mountain. Yah, I was that bored. I actually managed to write it in one night, which is pretty good for me. Though I'm pretty sure that there are a lot of grammar mistakes. I'm going to post it here...so if you can read Japanese, feel free to read it ^^; I'll post the English version after I get around to actually writing it XD

かめさんと山(やま)さん

むかしむかし、かめがなまえはかめさんいました。貝(かい)からはきれいなけどあたまがわるいでした。一日(ついたち)、川(かわ)にいって、水(みず)のみました。うおをみました。かめさんが、「どこでいきますか。」とききました。うおが、「私(わたし)たちは月(つき)のところにいきます。」といいました。かめさんが、「そうですか。どうしてにいきますか。」とききました。うおが、「月(つき)のパーティです！」といいました。かめさんはおどろきでした。うおが、「かめさん、私(わたし)たちといきましょ。」とききました。かめさんが、「おもしろいです。月(つき)のパーティは川(かわ)でありますか。」とききました。うおが、はいといいました。かめさんはかなしいです。「私(わたし)はおよぎません。」といいました。うおが、「そうですか。」といって、パーティにいきました。

かめさんは中(なか)の森(もり)までよる行(い)って、石(いし)にすわりました。こえが、「おい！小(ちい)さいの石(いし)さん、あなたは足(あし)にすわります！」といいました。かめさんが、「私(わたし)は石(いし)じゃありません。かめです。だれがですか。」といいました。こえが、「私(わたし)は山(やま)です。」といいました。山(やま)さんはたかくて、ひるいでした。山(やま)さんが、「何(なに)をこっちでしますか。」とききました。かめが、「私(わたし)は月(つき)のパーティにいきません。」といいました。山(やま)さんが、「すみません。私(わたし)も月(つき)のパーティにいきません。」といいました。かめさんが、「そうね。パーティをしましょ！」といいました。山(やま)さんが、「かんがえすてきです！」といいました。そよる、山(やま)さんとかめさんはパーティをして、ケイーキとアイスクリムとクキをたべました。もおちゃをのみました。

It's that time again

So I have to register for next semester's classes on the 24th of this month. Yah I know, that's so soon O..O So I went ahead and checked to see what I still needed to fullfill...just two 300lvl classes and one has to be a writing intensive. So I already have it planned out, yay!

This is my possible schedule for next semester:

Monday: RUS 314- Major Movements in Russian Lit. WI From 2:00pm-3:15pm

Tuesday: JNS 204 WI 11:00am-12:15pm
ENG 329 Literature and Film 2:00pm-3:15pm
ENG 348 Contemporary British Authors WI 3:30pm-4:45pm

Wednesday: Same as Monday

Thursday: Same as Tuesday

Friday: NOTHING!!

So yah...I must be insane takeing three Writing Intensive classes. Oh well, should be fun none-the-less.

Wee fun?

So I'm chillin in the Super Lab..yah, I know...I have a laptop, I shouldn't be here. But hey, I didn't feel like carrying it around on my back all day and I have a little break from work, so why not? Normally this time would be spent waiting for my nutrition class to start, but we don't have class today- instead there will be an online midterm that I'm going to take when I get back to the room later.

Everyone should be proud of me! I actually got up ON TIME and didn't take my usual nap...mainly because "Night Stalker" was on SciFi. Who would want to miss that? Me, that's who! So after that went off, I put on my shoes and left the room EARLY to waddle over to the EUC. I went up to the Student Org. offices (first time I've been there since I quit the now non-existant WPSA), and dropped off my submition for the Coraddi. I'm a little sad for them because now I know why Kris was so happy to hear that I was turning something in- there were only two other disks in the box T_T Man, that's sad. There is a slim hope that I may actually win one of the three cash prizes! Though I doubt it will happen...I'm at least 80% confident, however, that my pics will in fact be used. That's satifying in its own right.

This reminds me...I need to stop by and grab a copy of the last issue...I haven't looked at it yet.

*yawns* dangit, now I'm sleepy again. Perhaps I should go grab a small bite to eat from the EUC...though really, I've already had a double cheeseburger and a big thingie full of pineapple and strawberries. I shouldn't be hungry...and yet...I wonder if there are still doughnuts...

Ok, so sitting next to me I have a CD with five photos that I'm going to drop off at the office for the Coraddi. Wish me luck as I've never submitted my craptastic photos for anything before. So...yah...wee!

So I checked my mail...and my free post-its are here! *dances* I now have a crap load of samples like the "Super Sticky" notes, some photo paper (that's sticky), some sticky flash cards....and some of the lil' flags.
