muu

Ok, not really. I haven't done ANY shopping since I've been home, though I may go to the mall (omg scary) on Sunday...I know I'll be going to Asheville on Monday (hopefully), but that's to meet up with people, not to shop. It's also suppose to snow Sunday...so ya know, I really dunno what's gonna happen this week *shrugs* This past week has been somewhat interesting though. I've made a vow to myself that, if I need something from town, then I'm going to walk. Gods know that I need the exercise and I don't want to lose what endurence I've built up at school. That and mommy has the only working vehicle while she's at work ^^; So there has been at least one walk a day to the new Doller General. I love it in there, they have lots of snack stuff. Good to tie me over until the next grocery store trip. That and I can get pepsi products cheap. Other than this, I've been consuming large amounts of green tea lately. I don't mean the kind made by Snapple, or any other pre-bottle brand, but actual made-with-a-tea-bag tea. This is weird for me because I don't really like hot tea O..o I think it's cuz I finally realized that other teas, not just...ummm...whatever kind it is ice tea is made from, can actually have sugar added ^^; *smacks forehead* baka baka baka BAKA! Anyway....

Yesterday, I tried to cook for mommy's birthday. Note the word "tried." I managed to make an ok cake...and I don't even want to discuss the horror that was making piroshki. I know what I did wrong though...I'll have to use a different kind of flour next time. Ugh, I made the kitchen such a mess T_T I feel bad cuz mommy cleaned it up today...

They said the piroshiki tasted good...though they didn't eat many, so I think that they were only being nice.

Tomorrow mommy is going shopping and Nana is going to sit with Gail. I'm voting to sit at home...I'm going to attempt doing all of my laundry while everyone's out and hopefully tomorrow won't be too emotionaly wearing for Nana.

Maybe later tonight I'll post some pics of our very much undersized tree ^^;

So India will get off my back..

I'm just playin ^^; Though really...no one's ever fussed at me for not updateing before O..O

*sips tea*

So I've managed to have myself settled and mostly unpacked within the first 24hours of being here. 'Course, not before mommy stubbed her toe on my CPU at least once ^^; It's tradition, what can I say? My room has actually been vaccumed (well, what floor space there is, anyway) and all my electronics are set up. This being important because I can now watch Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon! I'm a dork, ok?

The only tasks left until Christmas are:

Renew my liscense
Shop
Work on Kudzu monkies
Shop
Make a blanket out of left over yarn

Ok, ok, so all of this doesn't have to be done BEFORE Christmas...but I should at least start on it, ne?

good times

So today most of us Russian students went to Carrie's (our professor) house for a Russian dinner. Omg the food was sooooo good! Here are the only two pics I got away with taking ^^;

beets

cooking

Please note that I'm not making the food. I helped making the umm..umm...ok, I don't remember what they were called, but they were kinda like dumplings and were REALLY tastey, specially with sour cream.

I'm so full of meat right now, lol

The Race is On!

Soooo yah...it's the end of the semester. I have one paper due (technically tomorrow, but she said we can give it to her on reading day), and three exams on the actual dates, one exam on Monday, and one that's due whenever I feel like it next week. Yet, with all of this due...I feel fine. I think it may just be the shock...but whatever it is, I feel like I'll do fine.

Also, the race is on at work. In the next two days there will be interviews for the new office posistion. EEEE! I'm excited! I hope I get it ^^

Hmm...

Despite a horrible tummy ache from lunch...I'm in the best mood that I've been in for the longest time.

Maybe I'm just in shock from the fact I have ALL KINDS of homework due this week, then exams next week.

I like my music right now ^^ *dances*

Have you ever...

...woken up in the morning and like..completely forgotten who you are?

That was me this morning ^^;

In other news....Takagi Sensei thinks I have a penis. XD

No see, let me explain. I was stealthely (like the wiiiind) avoiding my second class and I ducked into her office to turn in my writing book. Now, here I should point out that I wear a guy's hoodie and it hangs really low on me. This is part of why I like it...it's all comfy and keeps me warm. ^^ I also carry things in the front pocket, usually my drink. So after I turned in my book, Sensei stopped me and says "What's that in your pocket?" I giggled and said "Oh, just my drink" and pulled it out for her to see. She nodded and said "Ohhh...I was about to say..." and then I blushed and realized what it looked like. "Hehe, yes sensei, I have a growth." And to that she laughed SO HARD.

After the giggles, I steathely (again, like the wiiiiiind) went back downstairs and headed to lunch.

WOOSH!

Go To Class

I was rather annoyed today and I'm going to rant. It is so important that I even gave it its own title.

Got To Class

I have a question. About how many UNCG students come here to actually learn? I mean really. Twice in this month I have encountered on campus protests. Now, I would like for you all to understand that I have no problem with expressing one's opinion. However, I have a major problem with people abusing their right to speech by impeading on my rights at this University.
The first protest was, as far as I know, against Bush. I really have no idea about the specifications because they did nothing more than annoy me. First, when they were trying to round people up the week before, they were chanting "No class or work on November second!" I know that they meant "Don't go to class..." but that's not how a lot of people heard it. I know a LOT of people who thought that November second was some kind of holiday and didn't go to class. When it came time to protest, instead of waiting until they got downtown where they actual protest was happening, they decided to start a small marching band and march through the first floor of McIver. I was trying to listen to a lecture on "Much Ado About Nothing." We had to stop for nearly a full five minutes for them to get through the first floor and back. That may not seem like a lot of time, but anything that stops the train of thought of the professor is detrimental to the class. As though it wasn't enough, they then marched around the outside of the building. They were right outside our window and were still being a distraction. I don't care what you're against, you don't have the right to keep me from learning. I came to UNCG for LEARNING and damnit that's what I'll do.
The second, and most annoying out of sheer principle, was the protest going on outside of the Library. They were trying to protest against the use of free speech zones on campus. This had to be the most POINTLESS protest I have ever seen. They said that the use of these two zones were oppressing their freedom of speech. First of all, if you are any good at all with public speaking, who cares where you are? And to quote my boss, "it's not like they put them under the bridge in to the music building where no one will see." These places are relatively large, very noticable places. The only thing is that they are away from classes and dorms. The reason for this is not to prohibit you from getting your word out, but to keep you from disturbing classses and people who are trying to learn. They don't even have to give approval, you just have to tell them that you are going to do something so they can be prepared- they don't know what kind of protest it is and someone could get hurt.
People. I want you to understand that you can say whatever you want. But don't disrupt my learning experience. I came here to take classes and you know what? YOU SHOULD GO TO CLASS instead of wasting your time with pointless protests. You know that you just want to be remembered for it- but understand that no one cares about this petty crap.

STOP WHINING AND GO TO CLASS!

ah fudgenuggets...

I broke my mp3 player...

Or rather, it's broken, I wasn't directly invovled in the incident.

I went to hook it up to the comp and noticed that the inside of the cable is now, for some reason, stuck inide the port on the player. That explains why the connection was so weak last week when I last hooked it up.

I dunno how it happened, it's not like I'm rough with it or anything...

*sighs* I have no way to listen to music at work now...which I guess is fine seeing as my headphones were dieing too.

This week is trying really hard to kill me.

Oh the heartache!

So I returned to the doctor today...for those of you who don't know, last week I kept having chest pain and went to the Health Center. The funny-docotr-man said that I had a very common infection in my chest that happens after one has had a virus for a while. Made sense seeing as I was sick for nearly two and a half weeks prior T_T

So anyway...yah...went back for my follow up today. I've been taking the 800MG Ibuprophen, but I still felt pain in my chest. It was less...but still there. I told him this and he kinda went "hmm..." and decided that I should go through some tests. He was pretty sure that it's still an infection, he just wanted to make sure it wasn't anything else- better to do useless tests than to do none at all and find out later that you should have. Or something like that. So I went back and had my first x-rays since about the 8th grade. Though I have to say that it was the very first time that it has involved my boobs. I also had my arm stabbed and they took blood. Again, a first- she got blood in one try and I didn't bawl my eyes out afterward. In fact, before she started I went on my usual "my veins roll" shpeal. Her response "Oh hunny, there ain't no such thang." She was a bit determined not to hear excuses. I kinda liked that. It didn't hurt either...well...didn't until about ten minutes later...now it's all achy and there will be no lifting my arm above my belly button. I'm a big baby, I know this. The last thing they did was an EKG. Yet ANOTHER first for me. He gave me a copy of the results to keep for nostalgic reasons...I told you, he's a funny-doctor-man. The results for the x-ray and the EKG came back fine, though he said that it would take an hour to get the results back from the blood test. he was suppose to call if there was anything wrong....and he hasn't called, so I guess that was fine too. he told me to just keep taking the Ibuprophen and if it still hurts after sometime next week, that I need to make an appointment with the Sports Center thingie...I guess they handle more heart related things? I dunno.

I want to take a nap.

HOLY PEANUTS!

So as you may or may not remember, there's a raccoon living in the tree outside our window. Me and Imani have been watching her for a few weeks and have been talking to her from time to time...we first named her Rolli cuz we didn't know if it was a boy or girl...Rolli seemed neutral.

We both stayed up really late last night doing homework, not going to bed until about 2am. I layed down and got all comfy...but then I heard these noises. They sounded like small yips and yelps, kind of like the sounds guinea pigs and bunnies make. Imani thought someone was whistleing, but that couldn't be it cuz it was coming from several places at once. I joked and said "Hey, what if Rollie had like...a whole family in there?" We giggled and I looked out the window...only to see Rolli climbing out of her hole and climbing the tree...then I saw three other, much smaller Rolli's climbing about! Apparently they wanted to play, but momma wasn't having that...she was runnin around the tree, trying to catch them and put them back in the nest. One, however, made it to the base of the tree. She couldn't go after him cuz everytime she'd leave the nest, the other two (umm...what are baby raccoons called?) would crawl out and she'd have to chase them back in. It was adorable and interesting to watch. We know why she doesn't want them out yet...they don't know how to look out for people and cars like she does. They're noises are so cute!

I wish I could take pics of them...if I use a flash, One, it might scare them, and Two the screen on the window absorbs all the light and the pic comes out pure white.

SO CUTE

ISN'T HE (or she) JUST SO CUTE?!!! This raccoon lives outside the window of our dorm. We (me and Imani who can be heard giggling in the background) hope that he's made a nest in there so we can seem him lots.
Isn't wierd, too, that before mommy left the day I moved in, she had a long talk with the tree to watch over us....and now there's a cute fuzzy in it that looks in our window and doesn't scamper away when we talk to it?

Pirates rock my socks

Today is National Speak like a Pirate day! YAR! Or if you're a Russian Pirate, ЯР! I want to write an entry completely in Russian..I might do that tonight after I write up my paper for English, ya know...when I have the patience to look up words. Perhaps I'll be able to like...impress even myself and get my paper done in time to finally work on my Russian paper T_T I've just now figured out how I'm going to be able to expand it. Though I doubt I'll be able to make it a page and a half. UGH.

Ok...anyway...

Я РУССКАЯ ПИРАТ!!! ЯААААРРРРРРР!!!

I just found out that yesterday, Mamaw passed away.

Nice to know they care so much...

I knew it was going to happen soon...I just didn't think....I had just hoped it wouldn't have been this soon...

OMG Stupid people should stub their toes, and I'm proof of this

So I've been plagued by a lot of paranoia of something following me. It's a spirit of some...sort...but anyway, I've ben really jumpy and having small panick attacks from it.

But really, all you should understand from this is that I'm really jumpy.

So's I go downstairs to make me a tastey cup o' ramen (draggin Imani with me for protection, of course), and go into the dark kitchen. I flip on the light and walk in, all the while talking to Imani, throw away the wrappings from my cup o' ramen, then turn to see that there has been a girl sitting in there (previously in the DARK) on her cell phone. I almost peed myself.

I swear, had Imani not been there, I would have FREAKED and beaned that 'ho with my ramen.

To top it all off...she was annoyed with us for using the kitchen and disrupting her conversation.

A Perfect Circle is neat...

I've been soooo slacking in updates...not that any of you mind, I'm sure. You all have important Blogger lives to get to, so I'll make this relatively short. My birthday is on Monday. WOOOO! I will have reached my SECOND decade of life. Neat, huh? I already know what I'm getting from nana...mainly because I actually told her something she could get me, OH EM GEE!! You have to understand that every year she asks me, and every year I say "I dun care..." But this year I was prepared with links to eBay shops XD However, once she looked at it and realized PayPal was involved...she was all about me buying it myself, ^^; So she's just gonna pay me back for it when I go home. As for what I ordered: a container of 1,004 pieces of paper for making Lucky Stars ^^; And a pack of 60 strips of Virgo paper (purple!) for stars as well. So much fun! After I make enough for my first wish (1,000), I'm gonna get some different paper for making pretty stars to hang from strings in the room. I may also make some cranes XD I like origami...it's one of the few crafts that doesn't cause great amounts of stress for me when I mess up, cuz there are always at least TWO things I can make: stars and cranes.

Sometime this weekend, after I get tired of doing homework, I'm going to get started on the layout for my Achillies webcomic. Yesyes, my SNAIL is going to have his own webcomic. Cool, ne? Kevin's going to program it for me...though I have to do all the arty crap. I have a good idea of what to do, I'm just not sure about like...sizes of things that will go on the site. That kind of stuff confuses me a little.

In related news, Kevin is working on a blog script...something like LJ or Blogger that will be offered to the public. It's not finished yet, but if you want one, just sign up for a site with Kylosa (it's free!) and he could make you one for your own use ^^ His newest addition to the script allows multiple users for one blog, but it has an administrator who chooses who can be added and who will be able to edit what. Also, it allows for avatars ^^ I ish proud of him for it.

In OTHER news, I started another short story XD I haven't given up on the MacPhearson story yet, though. I've been working on it a little while sitting in class. You guys know me, I tend to write a little, work on something else, then come back to it. I've heard from other writers, too, that that works really well. Keeps you from getting bored with the same idea. My new story takes place in a town like Hot Springs, but not, (though I say that it takes place in the mountains of NC and the main character goes to "Patriot High School" XD), and she comes to find out that they've been hiding something (as do most small towns). She comes to find out that living in the river, (or a big lake, can't decide quite yet), there is a mermaid. Now, this mermaid is by far no Princess Ariel. She's based on the Japanese legends (cuz those are the only actual mermaid legends I know), in which Mermaids are friggin EVIL. See, first a person feeds from their flesh, if they survive, this person becomes immortal. However, if a Mermaid feeds on the flesh of one of these immortals, prefferably a girl, then that Mermaid takes on that person's youth and beauty. It also allows for them to disguise themselves as humans. I think. I gotta do a little more research and iron out the fine details. Anyway, this girl, by a series of events, ends up being basically thrown to the Mermaid. I can't say much else without giving away a great deal, but that's the gist of it.

WEEEEE...

Awww....I'm out of Pocky...

That's how the courses drop...err...something

So...I just dropped my writing fiction class. Now then, lemme explain before I start getting yelled at by the likes of Megan and Emily...either Emily. My legs have gotten worse since last year. They're staying constantly swollen...much like mommy feared they would. They'll prolly stay like this until I go to her doctor so's that he can point at me and say that I have inbred-hillbilly syndrome. For this reason, walking to Graham is out of the question. I didn't just fall comming out of there because of the step, I fell because my legs couldn't carry me anymore T_T Other reasons include the fact I'm terrible in workshops because I offer no help for other writers and that my work load this semester is a lot and I don't really have time for writing.

So yah.

I hate admitting defeat...

I hate being defeated...

Well...it seems my legs and hands have been swollen for...lesse...three days straight. I may have to drop my writing ficiton class...not just because I have like...2 .oz of self esteem with my writing, but rather because I just can't walk to the Graham building. This is the first semester that I've had this much trouble...and I don't like it. But ya know, I can deal with it. Besides, with all my other work, I don't think I'd have time to finish the two required stories.

I hate admitting defeat, though T_T

So...here we go with the update.

First off...the bunk beds that were already set up didn't make it through the night. As soon as I found out how wobbly it was, we took that sucker down ^^; They're lofted now, and it's much more comfy. We're excited cuz we have like, a crazy amount of space.

As for the classes...I love all my classes on Mondays, Wednsdays, and Fridays. Especially Japanese...I think I'm going to do well in that class, and the Prof is so cute and funny XD She likes to tell stories, particularly about her cats. Her cats are her children. Anyway...yah...totally need to be doing Russian homework...so maybe more later when I can think more clearly o..O

HOLY MOTHER OF GOD! IT'S A STORY UPDATE! xD

It's not much of an update...but at least it's something, ya know?
When she returned to the McPherson house, she was greeted by a very angry little Jamie. He clung to her skirt and looked up at her with large eyes and a furrowed brow. In his little voice, he scalded her for leaving him without telling him and burst into tears before he could finish his lecture. She could do nothing but smile at him. Over the years, she had learned well how to hide behind a good smile and with this she would hide the pain of leaving him again. She bent down and pulled him close, brushing his dark, curly hair from his face and wiped away his tears. She slid the fiddle case that she had been carrying from her right shoulder down her arm and opened it. Little Jamie stared at it for a moment, and then looked at his mother in confusion. “Take it,” she said, “and learn to play. Become the best fiddle player that all of Scotland has ever seen, and when people hear your nimble fingers dancing along the strings, they’ll be hearing the voice of your people. This way, you’ll never forget.” Little Jamie didn’t say a word. He was afraid of saying goodbye, afraid that saying out loud would make it true. He simply cried without stopping as his mother bent down to kiss his forehead and then walked away.
Little did he know that the separation from his mother wouldn’t be quite as long as either of them had expected.

Newest Installment

Ok, so here ya go! It doesnt' seem like much really...but I swear when double spaced in Word it's like two and a half pages. Anyway, I can't remember if I posted it on here or not yet, but my mom found out what the Lord's actual name was, so from now on he's going to be William instead of James. Trust me, it'll be a lot less confusing that way ^^: So I'll go back and change that after I post this.

Enjoy!

William was surprised to say the least. He was both excited and terrified at the same time; on the one hand, he would finally have a child. On the other hand, there was now proof of his affair with Sarah. Until this point, both of the families had known about the affair but it was easily pushed aside and assumed that it wouldn’t last for very long. But now that there would be a child no one could ignore it anymore and the consequences would be set into place. Just as it was against public law for Gypsies to interfere with the people of Scotland, it was against Gypsy law to have contact with non-Gypsies, unless of course you were in the business of making money by whatever means. As result, Sarah was ignored by most of her family and Band. William, in a moment of desperation, decided to take her and the child in as servants in his household just after the child was born. The reasoning he gave to his family was that he took pity on the woman, having no other place to go. The family accepted this, even though they knew the truth. You’ll find that in most cases, it’s easier for people to ignore the truth and accept the lie.

The child was given two names, as is customary amongst the Gypsies, the first being James and the second being Seumas. Only his mother and father knew him by his second name, everyone else just called him Jamie. Little Jamie had only been there a year before Elizabeth began having children of her own. Soon he had other siblings to play with and after a while no one noticed that he was the only one with dark hair. He wasn’t treated any differently by any of the family and even Elizabeth eventually began looking after him when he was playing with her children. During this time William’s affair had almost come to an end. He began paying more attention to his wife and children than he did to Sarah, and she was beginning to get jittery staying in one place. She loved her son, and her heart still burned for William, but she longed to be out in the hills with her Band, listening to the music her father played by the fire. One night she snuck off into the darkness, not to return for several days. She was going back to her family’s camp to plead with her father to be allowed to return. On her venture back, she was greeted with the news that her father had his hand broken by an angry townsman who suspected him of stealing horses. The healer of their caravan had tended to it, but she wasn’t able to set it in time. His hand was too mangled to hold his fiddle. People were beginning to be more aggressive to her kind and it was apparent that they needed as many on their side as possible. It was decided that she could return, and could even bring the boy with her if she wanted. She told him that she would return in two weeks after she had thought over it. Again, she loved her son dearly, but he could do so much better living with his father where he would grow up with money and without the ill treatment of the people of Europe. She also asked a favor of her father before she left; she asked to take his fiddle, as he no longer had any use for it.

HOLEH CRAPEH! More story

So yah...here ya know...right where the last entry left off.

It was then that he noticed her clothing. She wasn’t wearing rags, but her clothes didn’t seem quite appropriate for a wedding. She was wearing a simple dress, the skirt of which seemed to be made of several layers of fabric, which had coins and jewels sewn into the hem and around the short sleeves. Around each wrist she wore several bracelets at a time and wore two necklaces about her neck. It was as though she kept all of her belongings with her at once, for even amongst the two long raven braids that fell over her shoulders there were strung coins intertwined. His blue eyes widened, but he quickly caught himself and calmly said “You are very brave, appearing in public as you are. The penalty for Egyptians is that of death.” He tried to keep his voice light and casual. He didn’t want to make her think that he was going to call her out as a Gypsy in the middle of the dancing, but he wanted to be sure that she was aware that someone else might.

“I, sire, have come to find that people who want nothing to do with the likes of myself rarely ever notice me, that is how badly they want to be rid of me,” she said, boldly putting more bread into her pocket. He laughed softly at her and said “Aye. Perhaps that is why I noticed you, then. Because I want everything to do with you…” he paused for a moment to watch her reaction to this, and seeing that she wasn’t completely appalled by him, he continued, “however, it also could have been that you’ve put three pounds of bread into your skirt.” They both began to laugh and from that day on they would continue to laugh together for at least a year. He would continuously sneak off to visit his Gypsy lover, leaving behind a very lonely wife. Elizabeth knew where William had been going and was pretty sure of what he had been doing, she could always tell by the stupid grin he had on his face and the way he would avoid touching her for a few hours after his return. It, however, didn’t bother her. They had been married for a few years by this time and she had yet to bear him any children. She figured that this was the penalty for being a poor wife.

Now, I would like to clarify that William was not a corrupt man. He loved his wife dearly and would have done anything to ensure her happiness. He, however, happened to love Sarah as well. She was so different from any other Scottish woman he had met. There was a mystery, a fire about her that he couldn’t quite figure out. Truth be told, he didn’t want to figure it out. It gave her a wildness that danced behind her dark eyes and this helped him escape from the restrictions of upper class. Because of her lifestyle, her and her family were constantly moving about the highlands of Invernesshire, trying to escape the persecution of the government and the people of the towns. There would be times when he would not see her for days, sometimes even weeks at a time. It would be after one of these weeks that he would learn she was with child.

Story time

I'm working on another story for my writing fiction class comming up this semester (my Alice one seems to be dieing as I speak). I'm trying to actually prepare for the class since I don't know when I'll have to present. Anyway, this new story is a work of historical fiction based around the events of James MacPhearson's life and mixed with my family tree. See, we dunno if he's the James we're decended from or not, but in my story, he is. It's possible. The story is still in it's earliest stages and even now needs tweeking. I'm not entirely happy with the title "Fiddle Strings" and I think I'm going to have the speaker introduce herself in the beginning as Chloe MacPhearson, my ancestor and possible grandaughter of James. I decided to post it and see what you think, though I'm sure no one will read it. So here ya go:

It is important that we never stop telling stories. They are what keep history alive and remind us of those who have lived before us. More importantly, they tell us things that happened that may not be recorded any other way. It is important that we never forget. In true mountain fashion, I would like to share with you a story that, like most stories, is based in fact, however it has been…enhanced to fill in the gaps left out by history books.

It all began at a wedding. The Scottish Lord William MacPhearson of Inverneshire was walking amongst the people, returning their smiles as they shared dance and food around him. It was an outdoor affair and there were so many people that it was hard to tell who was invited and who had just appeared for the free food. No one seemed to mind the intrusion however; they were too busy having a good time to notice. He made his way across the green grass and through the dancing couples to the table where the food was laid out. He began helping himself to the various cheeses when out of the corner of his eye he caught the sparkle of bracelets near the bread. He quickly shot a glance to the wrist connected to these bracelets and then to the owner. It was at this moment that his heart stopped as he stared at what he thought to be the most beautiful women he had ever seen. She stood frozen as well, but more so out of fear than amazement. Apparently he had just caught her in the act of stuffing bread into the pockets of her skirt. He broke into a smile and laughed softly, “Don’t worry my dear, I’m sure no one will notice. It is free after all.” She smiled and blushed deeply as he said this, being slightly ashamed of her behavior.

tears, goodbyes, and heart burn

I came back home from Kevin's house today. There was much crying on my part...kinda did that throughout the whole stay. Luckily, no one noticed until I was just about to leave, then I broke down on Kevin's arm ^^; I'm such a wuss. I had the chance to stay another day...but I just would have cried harder if I had. Yah, I suck like that. He's good with that stuff...I hate that he has to try so hard to make me stop crying (once I start, there's really no stopping), and I don't think he knows how happy I am with his arms around me, even if there are tears streaming down my face and snot trails commin from my nose and I'm all hiccupy and sobby. That's why I miss his hands. They're the best hands in the world.

Ok, now I'm a little off track...So I came home after a rather stressfull drive. Truck drivers are jerks, I think that says it all. I managed to make it home with one egg short of two dozen. Not my fault that the one was cracked, so go me! Now, the reason I have the eggs...because Kevin's mom never lets me leave without some kind of food. Last time it was Jelly. Not that I'm complaining, hell, it's free food, it just makes me giggle that she gave me eggs. It seems a little random and odd. That's like...something that Bernice used to do. She was the lady who we rented our first trailer from when we lived on the outskirts of Hooterville. I used to go with her to collect eggs...though she didn't usually give them to us, she'd give us honey from her own bees ^^ I miss that stuff, it was a LOT better than store bought. I'll be sure to make a srambled egg sammich when I get up tomorrow. I have a feeling I'll be eatin lots of 'em ^^;;;

Ack! My eyes are like...refusing to focus. I think I stared at Google Earth for too long. Either that, or maybe I really do need glasses. Since about the tenth grade I've had trouble seeing stuff written on the board and overhead. I almost hate reading now because my eyes go crossed while I'm reading and my head starts to hurt. I need to get my eyes check, like...bad. Nana said she'd get me an appointment this month...or at least at the beginning of August when she gets paid. And who knows...maybe I'll have to have reading glasses and then I can be all hot with my glasses and...umm...yah. I'll be teh HAWT. You will all envy my HAWTNESS!

ps. I <3 Kei-kun's pudgey pudge.

Fuzzy lemurs, rain, and books on tape

Kevin aparently finds it amusing to force me to listen to The Devinci Code on audio tape....okay, good...he stopped. So anyway...we went and saw Madagascar today...mommy lied to me and said she'd take me...but no..she didn't...*glares and life giver* Anyway...it wasn't too funny, but it had it's moments. I lovied the Penguins ^^ Weee for pengu-pengu!

Kevin found this really neat thing called Google Earth. It's so fun! There's a lot of stuff that isn't mapped yet, but the stuff that is there is neat. There's not much mapped for around here like...at all...but the part that is done is near where a friend of mine lives...so I followed the roads until I found her house...it showed me an arial view of her house! Cars in driveway and everything. It's super neat. I'm going to have to download it when I get home. I have a feeling it's something my mom would enjoy doing. Not only can she obsess about our ancestors, but she can look at where they lived too ^^;

I'm off for now...may be leaving tomorrow...or I may beg to stay another day...there's a movie I wanna catch tomorrow. Plus it's all stormy.

HOLY CRAP!

So Megan wasn't eaten by badgers or anything...she just randomly appeared again today. There was mention of the beach.

Why doesn't anyone ever tell me anything?

*listens to the Donnas*

The Donnas are awesome. You should all listen to them.

In other news...I have no idea what's happened to Megan. It's like she's dissapeared from the face of the mountain. She hasn't been online in like...a month and just now I tried calling her house and got the uber annoying recording saying that the number was dissconnected. These aren't good signs. I'm pretty sure that if she couldn't make the phone payment, she would have wrote wbout it in her journal. She has a very active online life involving EOFF (Final Fantasy messege board thingie) and there are a LOT of people who would want to know if she wasn't going to be online. I'm sure she knows this. So now I'm lead to believe that maybe her grandma (I think) kicked her out of the house in which they were living. Technically the grandma owns it, though she doesn't live there, and can, in all legality, sell it. Megan said that she had changed her mind about it...but she very well could have changed it back at a moment's notice. This is also about the time when she first said she wanted Megan and Sarah out. So now I have to wait. If I want to find out anything, I need to get a hold of their cousin. She lives right up the road and would know what happened. Though, in order for that to happen, I have to wait for Hope to get on. She's the only one I can think of who has her phone number. So yah...

I really hope it's just a phone fluke. Otherwise I'm going to have to go beat some little old woman.

Addiction

So I've discovered that I'm addicted to Typer Shark Delux from Yahoo. It's crazy. I play it nearly every night when I can't sleep (though I take a break to go watch Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, to which I am also addicted), and will continue to play for HOURS. The purpose of the game is to type the words on the sides of the sharks and pirannahs in order to zap them before they reach you. If you don't, they EAT CHOO! The game also tracks your WPM for each round. My wavers a lot ^^; The highest I've gotten has been 84, the lowest being 45 or so. Personally I think it's all just because I like to type and I really like the little zappy noise O..O

Speaking of GITS, you should check out the site for the show here. I suggest you try to catch it on Adult Swim, or go rent the first and second movie, if you can. The animation for the movies is different though....I think Stand Alone Complex is a LOT prettier, and it follows the same design as the original manga.

Little sharpies and the end of the Porntastic nails

That's right ya'll, I got rid of the porntastic nails today. I felt really bad trying to explain to the nice little asian man that the nails were pretty, and I liked them, but I didn't want them anymore. He kept saying that I should have had them cut a little shorter since it was my first set. I told him it was fine, just take them off now...please. So, he took them off (there was a big mess involved with all the gunk that got picked off), then he cut down my natural nails to little nubs. I know why he did it, but my and mommy decided at first that it was punishment for getting rid of the pretty nails that his wife had worked so hard on. We also had to listen to him go on and on about how great america is, much to his wife's embarrassment. After that, me and mommy went over to Wally-World (it's required when you go there), and I didn't get anything, we mostly picked up house stuff and momma got her some "six dolla" shoes. She bought me a mini purple sharpie though O.O I love pens! So now I'm all *scribblescribblescribble* Sharpie! Yay!

bored

The Rules
1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth full sentence.
4. Post the text of the sentence in your journal along with these instructions.
5. Don't search around for the coolest book you can find. Use what's actually nearest to you.

I stood before the first door, keeping the lantern on the ground that as much light as possible might shine underneath. -Redeeming the Lost by Elizabeth Kerner

Not the most exciting sentence, but it's the fifth one.

OH NOES!

I almost popped off one of my porn-tastic nails trying to get a plate out of the cabinet.

*cries*

It hurts!! i_i

Stop forcing me to make a choice. It isn't fair to me, or anyone else involved.

I'll deal with it on my own when I feel like it. Right now I'm too busy worrying over what I'll do tomorrow, let alone when I'm done with school.

Pictars!

As I may or may not have expalained in the past, I love taking pictures, whether it's teh right time to do so or not. So as you can imagen, I have lots of pictures that I take around the house, mainly due to boredom. Here are some interesting pics!

storm
Here are some storm clouds that came rollng in while me and Momma were gone to the Big City. Well, actually, we were in Wevervegas, the place between home and the Big City.

I love storms in the mountains.

Dogz
This is our dog, Yoda. There's not really much more that can be said about him...*coughcoughcrazycoughcough*

Sammeh
This is Sammy. His name is short for Samwise Gamgee. Yes, I'm aware that I'm a big dork.

Scottie nose
This is Scottie, my beloved kittums. Doesn't he look happy? At least I was nice neough to turn off the flash...

Scottie
Yet again, my kittums...only before I had taken twenty pictures of him, so he wasn't quite annoyed yet ^^;

Spooky
And finally, our other kitty- Spooky, the house drama queen! She loves any and all attention from us...but only us...anyone else she runs from or tries to eat...

More animal pics to come, so be warned!

Part Tree (don't you love my counting in Russian?)

new nails

These are my new pretty nails. Scottie was happy to help me demonstrate them ^^

Mother and Daughter Day Out part Dva

So I went through with it and got my nails done. I went with the usual french manicure because I wasn't sure how I would do with the nails, so I didn't want an elaberate airbrush job on something that I don't really like, ya know? It's neat having pretty nails ^^ They're no where near as heavy as I thought they'd be, but it's really hard trying to type with them. It kind of feels like my nail is going to pop off at any moment. Momma says that the feeling will go away after a day or two, once I get used to it. I guess I'll get them painted differently when I go back to get them filled. Yay for designyness! Oh, and the lady only charged me for the set, so I got the french manicure for free, basically.

The only really annoying thing is that the nails are very smooth at the edges...so I can scratch proficiantly T_T

Mother and Daughter Day Out

Tomorrow Mommy is going to get her nails filled in...and I volunteered to go with her. As a result I'm most likely going to get my nails done for the first time...EVEH. OH EM GEEE THE GIRLYNESS!!!! It's weird...cuz I've never seen myself as very girly...not even when I went to prom..so I never felt like I deserved it...but ya know, I kept looking for a nice wallpaper of Ayumi Hamasaki (J-pop singer), and she has like, the best nails ever. No really, look her up and see for yourself. Jenna Jameson does too, but I will not disclose how I came to find that out.

*coughcough*

So now I'm trying decided how I want them done. I know that I want acryllics (duh) but I dunno if I want a normal french manicure...or something similar, but a different color. Ack! The pressure!

ANIMAZEMENT!!!

So...yah. Animazement was AWESOME. And for once I have pictures to add to my story.
I spent the night before at Kevin's house, that way I would have plenty of time to get there without getting up at a godawefull time in the morning. That morning I was suppose to wake Kevin up, but he evidently decided that my leg made a good pillow. There's a picture for this, but he'd kill me if he knew I was showin pics of him, shirtless, to strangers on the net. So moving on...I went and picked up Aarin. There's not much story to the drive there. However, when we got there, we found out that Imani, Terri, England and Ingred hadn't even left Terri's house yet. T_T This was a problem because Terri had to check in for our room. So, we sat around for Sandra to show up so that we could have a place to put our stuff til Terri got there. I took a picture of Aarin while we waited. I have a bad habbit of taking photos of people, just to annoy them, or have the flash scare the bejeebus out of them. This is Aarin's waiting face:

Aarin not amused

After Sandra showed up, we put our stuff in their room and waddled around for a bit. We went to two different panels, and by then Terri showed up. So we moved our stuff and continued about our anime saturated schedual. I actually managed to take pictures of people in costume this year, if you click on said picture, it should tell you who they are.

She was from Bible back, so I just HAD to have her pic.

During all of this, we didn't have much time to eat. Friday night, while sitting in the lobby, thinking of what to do, we saw a girl and two Full Metal Alchamist Officers fighting for some Wendy's fries.
FMA and fries

She was finally rewarded for her begging.

The necxt day we went to the Bushido Judo panel. They do this panel every year, and every year they ask for volunteers to prove that anyone can learn Judo. This year, England volunteered. That poor boy laying at her feet...

By the end of the weekend we had all bought various suveneres, (pictures of mine will be posted later). but ALL of us managed to enjoy the wonders of the Genki Hats table. Most everyone got a hat from the on-sale-reject-bin with hats that were too small or had lopsided ears. I think I'm the only one who bought both a reject hat and a regular hat. Here we are with our hats!

Well...that's all for now...I might tell more stories later.

Off the Road again

I made it to Greensboro all fine and good. The brake light stayed on the whole time, but I'm beginning to agree with nana, I think that it's just stuck. Course now the door ajar light keeps coming on when the doors are all fine and shut...Kevin thinks his dad can cut that off for me so it doesn't drive me crazy tomorrow. Stupid shorting out of things....

So tonight I shall spend my time here at the library at A&T while Kevin works. Oh what fun ^..~ Ah well, I shall be an internet junkie for the duration of the wait.

On the road again

Today I leave for High Point where I will crash at Kevin's house for the night. This is so I'll have time to pick up Aarin on Friday and take her to Animazement with me ^^ This is in no way a plan. No. It is merely an idea of what will happen the next few days...afterall, we all know what happens when I try to plan something.

So after I stay at Kevin's, I'll be on my way to Animazement! Yay! I will, however, need to find a Coinstar in Greensboro somewhere if I want to have any money for food and stuff. Yes, almost all of my money is in change. Yay for pennies!

Well...I'm gonna cram my crap into the van and set off on my adventure. Weee adventure! If I'm lucky, Saturday I'll be able to find an ATM and withdraw the money that should be in my account by that time.

I'll might just be able to buy a lil' something while I'm there

Birdehs!!

OMGTHEBIRDS!

So I went and bought pants today...also applied to work at the library here in what momma calls hooterville (well, it belongs to the same county thereof), and renewed the tags for both vehicles here at home.

But anyway, back to the pants.
I ended up having to go to the mall alone (even though it turns out that Megan was there at the same time that I was...that makes me sad that I didn't know she worked later...she works at the Sears there for those who didn't know), and Matilda couldn't go because she was making dinner and apparently tried to scramble eggs using Crisco. I told her of her mistake and then sadly trodded off to the mall. I had to pee really bad when I got there, and I was having a crap load of trouble trying to find the plus sizes in JC Peny, so I headed off to the potty. It was one of those one stall deals, the bigger bathroom was a long walk away. Well, apparently the person who used it before decided they wanted to avoid germs and didn't sit all the way down onto the seat. A hint to all those of you who like to hover: YOU PEE ALL OVER THE SEAT AND MAKE THE BATHROOM NASTY FOR THE NEXT PERSON!! STOP SPREADING YOUR GERMS ALL OVER THE FRIGGIN PLACE AND SIT DOWN LIKE A NORMAL PERSON!!! *coughs* Needless to say, I held it and walked on to Lane Bryant. Now then, I had made a quiet promise to myself that I would get chepaer jeans somewhere else...but what the hell, they were right there and I didn't feel like walking much. Never hurts to look, right? So I went in and actually found a pair of jeans (slightly flared), that were only $38 rather than the normal $58 or even $99. The tag said low-rise. This made my heart sink cuz I knew that these pants wouldn't come anywhere near my hips and thus really wouldn't cover much of my body. I have a long body, btw. But they had a size 26, a rarety, so I, again, just went with it and tried them on. Low and behold they fit better (and rose higher, oddly enough) than my normal pants.

There was much squeeing inside my head for this find.

I then paid for them and got a four dollar discount for buying a magazine (yay coupons and $34 jeans!). Afterwards, since I had only taken 15 minutes to do this shopping that I fear would last three hours, I went to get food. I stopped at the Burger King on the way home, wen through the drivethrough, and parked in the place next to the birch trees where mommy and me normally park. I was rather happily eating my fries, when I heard a flutter noise. I figured a little birdy had landed next the car, looking for discarded food as is the norm for fast food parking lots. I looked over to toss him/her/it a fry only to find that it had flown inside my car. He/she/it was cheerfully perched on the edge of my mostly rolled down window and stared at me with it's head tilted to one side. In a moment of shock I said, calmly "Get out of my car..." And so he/she/it did. He/she/it did, however, land next to the car and proceeded to stare at me and chirp. I threw a fry out and watch said fry get dragged away.

There was a return for another about five minutes later ^^;

Such cuteness!!

However, for the res of my meal, a flock of various birds stayed in the tree in front of me, just
waiting for me to throw out the rest of my food...

I rolled the window up after that.

BEEs

So yah...BEEs. I don't like BEEs. They is mean, those BEEs. In fact, one has injured my puppy today...though he kinda deserved it. Sammy has some kind of BEE fetish and, even though he's been stung before, he keeps trying to eat the little buggers. One stung him on the paw today...I don't think it hurt him too bad because he wansn't limping, but if you so much as looked at him, he'd roll over and curl up his paw and twitch a little. I tried to put a mix of baking soda and water on it...but he wasn't havin that o.o

St00pid BEEs. I hates them. Our yard is overrun with carpenter BEEs. If you've never seen one, it's like a big (fat, OBESE) bummble BEE that bores hoels in wood for it's home. These BEEs have come to like our front porch. I tend to knock the wood planks so that they fall out all unconcious like. Teehee *innocent look*

*stares at the wax in her lava lamp as it unjulates*

Unjulate is a fun word. Use it in a sentence today. =^^=

Nya #_O

So yah, blogginess.

Not much has happened as of late...still haven't fit all of my crap into my room...same old same old.

However, today, I watched this really crappy thing on Discovery about the possibility of alien animals. It was neat...but the presentation was crappy...I would rather have an indepth story line like in the Dragon thingie that was done in March. This wasn't done by the same people, so maybe that's why. But anyway, seeing the other animal designs was neato-speedo. It made me think, and want to draw, actually. I wonder what kind of creatures like that I could come up with, and what little stories I could make. Could bring about a nifty project. Though whenever I think of these things, I end up thinking about Samiel (the hell hound thingie) from Hellboy, some of the creatures on the show kinda looked like him too. Though I've noticed that not alot of alien creatures are really fuzzy...they're usually dino-esque and have scales or hides much like a rhino. I wonder why that is...maybe it's like a part of the human psyche that anything furry has to be like us, so alien things have to be scaley or in need of moisturizer. They very often have tenticals as well. *thinks* I definately need to draw something. Maybe I can practice by doing things from movies and stuff first. I dunno

Hooray!

I got home yesterday after one of mine and mommy's usual driving adventures. We had fun times =^^= It took me until about 8 or 9 to get all of my crap into the house today...ugh, so much crap. It's taken me all night to clean my room enough to set up my comp...heh, right now, that's really the only thing I've moved into my room from the living room ^^; I promise that it won't be a mess forever, really. But anyway, yah...set up comp with my spiffy-cool wireless adapter. It's, well...spiffy-cool. Having one less cord in the floor is always a plus. However, after I got all of that set up, I found out that the spacebar on my keyboard is loose and doesn't work right...must be from when I dropped it yesterday ^^; Ah well...we had a spare keyboard laying around the house (bought for the old comp, just before it died), so I'm using it for now. There doesn't seem to be anything broken on my other keyboard...so maybe I can fix it. I dunno...though it's funny that everything, even stuff I've added on to my comp, is silver and black...while this keyboard is WHITE.

Hehe, sticks out like a sore thumb.

I'm sleepy.

Future goodness

So in an attempt at not thinking about exams, I've been looking toward the good things that could happen this summer.

1. Animazement
2. Guild Wars
3. possible job...maybe...if I beg
4. Choua could come visit me with yummy tastey Mong foods! I found out that she only lives about an hour and a half away. Yay!
5. MEGAN!
6. Russian movie comming out called Nigth Watchers!

I think that's all for right now...perhaps I will think of more later.

/ponder

So I'm sittin here...heatin up some lasana that I bought at the C-Store and preparing to go through my Ancient World notes for a paper due on monday. It's very much the end of the semester and I have a ton of things on my mind. Mostly how much money I have...is it enough to order my computer stuff (I could still use that video card, ram, and wireless adapter), and would I still have enough money to buy fun stuffs at Animazement? And does all this money spending make me a bad person when I know I should contribute to the groceries and bills at home seeing as I'm old enough to do so? I mean really...all I seem to do is mooch off of my family. And what about exams? Am I anywhere near being prepared for them?

Bah. Someone should lop off my head to get rid of these thoughts.

*sings* Call me, beep me, if ya wanna reach me

Ok, yah, I don't know why the Kim Possible theme song is stuck in my head either.

So Kevin installed a random video card that he had laying around the house (I think it was his lil' brother's old one) and now I can play guild wars! I created a Ranger/Elementalist named Illiana Beartalker. Go me! And ya know...if it wasn't for the fact I already have a pet cat in the game, I would totally charm a bear...however, my cat is a level five, whereas the bears are only a 3...so we're stickin with the cat until I find a higher level bear. Anyway...it's an awesome game...but I got frustrated a lot because I died twice and I kept losing Kevin. I feel all kinds of inferior to him and Carl at the moment, cuz ya know, this is my first MORP *looks all embarrased* and they know everything whereas I know squat. I think I'd much rather play with Emily, cuz she's playing for the first time too. I just have to figure out how to spell her screen name.

Eh.

My life is quite like burned popcorn...

I don't know how it is, but if you can explain it, be my guest.

So yah...tomorrow I gots to go to EB Games and pick up my copy of Guild Wars. This is fun yet depressing at the same time. Fun, quite obviously because it's a game that I'll be able to play with Kevin, Carl, and Damian over the summer. Kevin's uber excited and he actually said "I always wanted a girlfriend who wanted to do dorkish things like this with me." Apparently his other girlfriends were boring prisses. Go me. This is depressing however because I gots to shell out forty bucks for the game, and I HAVE to get it tomorrow cuz I'm only garunteed a copy for 48 hours (yay preorder garunteeing me a copy). Plus, once I buy it...I'll have to wait til after this week to play it cuz I still have to order the parts for my computer, for which I will be spending extra money to have it sent express mail to ensure it gets here before I leave. That way Kevin will be able to install all the stuffs and I won't get home with my computer in pieces and me staring at the motherboard, wondering at all the pretty colors like I did last Saturday at Kevin's Grandmother's computer. I think...I'll have like...*thinks* $300 left, though. Maybe the $280 range. I've been obssevily calcutlating it for the passed couple of weeks. I don't think I'll be that bad off afterward. Plus I'll get more money (though not much more) after I sell my books back. I think last semester I got about $90. I might get more like $50 this year, though, cuz most of my books are little plays that they may not even accept, and if they do it'll prolly be for less than a dollar. But that's ok, any cash is good cash.

My drama exam is this Thursday. I don't expect to do well on it...but by golly I is gonna try my best. Weeee for BSing essays!

So new stuff! ok, maybe not...

Nothing new happenin, thus why I haven't posted anything ground-breaking. Though I think later, whenever flickr wants to agree with me, I may post pictures of the beautiful clothes worn at I-Fest this passed weekend.

In more other news...umm...it'll take about $135 to get my comp ready and rearin to go for Guild Wars. Yes...I know I'm spending money for a game...but it's a game that I can play online wif my silly boy, Carl, and Damian. I really like the idea of that. And it's free to play online, unlike many other morps. It's just that the game will be $50 when it comes out -_- But I'll only have to pay 40 then if I preorder it and make a ten dollar downpayment (yah, I know it doesn't make a difference, but I get spiffy things in the game, plus posters and stuff).

I want something I can lose myself in while I'm at home, I mean...I spend all of my time at school thinkinig about school, and when I go home I think about school with the addition of crap going on there (and don't say there isn't, because there is. Always has been).

It's really not a lot to ask, I think.

I just don't really know how it happened...

Me and Imani went with Choua to watch the Asian Student Association reherse for their anual "Asian Extravaganza" (hehe). I swear to any and all gods that I only went to WATCH.

Somehow, I have become part of the Asian Extravaganza.

As many of you may notice, I'm not Asian, but come Sunday I'll be dressed in tradtional Mong clotheing, and walking around with Choua as though I know what I'm doing. WHEEEE!

More annoucements!

Geez, I'm like the announcement person today....errr something like that, anyway.

So my schedual for next semester will be as follows (without any changes, hopefully)

Monday: 10am Shakespeare: Early Plays and Sonnets, 11am Russian Conversation (a different class from the one that I took this semester), 12pm Japanese 101.

Tuesday: 9:30am Approach to the Study of Lit., 11am Major American Authors: Colonial-Romantic, 2pm Writting Fiction: Intermediate.

Wednesdays and Fridays are just like Monday, while Thursday is just like Tuesday.

Mmmm, 18hours of classes. I'mma gonna DIE. PLUS I'll be working an extra hour in the library...just because I could add it in, and we all know that I could use as many hours as I can get. I won't be working any later than 5, so as not to endanger myself anymore than normal, plus Marion will be there until my last half hour, and Jackie will be there long after I leave. This makes me happy. My day will pretty much be done by five, and I'll actually have time to eat breakfast and lunch each day, which will be nice cuz having three full meals a day will help keep my weight down (I don't know why, but it does). I think I'll have to start taking those multivitamins again too. Believe it or not, they actually helped...I only stopped taking them cuz nana fussed at me for accepting something from Kevin's mom. I should probably start eating pinapple like my mommy too...for I have started kicking in my sleep and every day I wake up to swollen legs. Not good with all the walking I've had to do this passed semester.

Anyway...I'm going to go get some cheesecake for I'm at Borders. I be likeing me some cheesecake.

English is going to Kick. My. Ass.

My days seem bipolar

So yesterday was a great day...except later last night I felt like crap for NO APPARENT REASON and I was really tired. But it was that kind of tired where you feel like you could just drop at any moment, but you can't got to bed, ya know? So I ignored it and did my homework and a load of laundry (oooo, responsibity, imagen that). After I finished my work, I realized that it was almost midnight and my registration for next semester started then. If you've never tried to register for classes online, then you've never had to endure the experience of THOUSANDS OF CLASSMATES all trying to access the same server at once. It isn't pretty. Not to mention by then time you get all logged in and put in your special code given to you by your advisor, most of the classes you wanted to sign up for are full. I was gonna be one step ahead last night, I had my code (after searching and nearly crying because I thought I had lost it...it was under my keyboard the whole time), and I was trying my best to be patient as the internet slowed to a crawl while I was logging in. I got up to the code part. You have to do this before you can put in the codes for your classes. I put in my code and...denied. Hmm...I must have gotten the numbers backwards. I put it in another...ten times. All with the same result. Apparently I got a bum code. *sighs* First you should know that the idiots here keep assigning me a guy who quite four years ago as my advisor. Instead I have to go crawling to the head of the English department for his sympathy, (and more importantly, his code). I hadn't been able to meet with him about my class choices because our scheduals conflict...BADLY. So I emailed him last night about it and went to bed, weeping, because there was very little chance that the classes I wanted would be there, waiting for me in the morning, and I had no backups. Still no answer this morning. I then went to class, being in a general funk. I got to my English class only to find out that both me and Imani had the wrong books with us. Crap. Our professor in that class is a total snob and likes to pick on those who forget their books, even if they're the best students in the class. I really want to kick her. So we just left. This makes our third absence (which is really good for me), we can't miss anymore days due to her insane attendence policy (that no student agrees we should have), and ya know...she even said "why even bother coming to class if you don't have your book?" So yah...we went to the tv room in the EUC and watched Charmed and I read for my drama class. I continued to stay in my funk through Astronomy, and became worse off after seeing my test score. According to UNCG, I passed it, but Danford would like to say that I'm failing. I can't stand him either. Everyone in the class did poorly, so I know that it isn't just me being dumb. I seriously think he needs to learn how to teach. I mean, he's a smart man and great in his field...but he can't and shouldn't teach.

After the rest of my classes, I grabbed some food and waddled my way back to my room. I checked my e-mail and found that he answered me! Yay! Granted, he made some crappy-ass comment about "since your a sophmore, I can give you your code" Yah, whatever, I don't technically have to meet with you anyway, Mr. Romine, as I am not your advisie! It is YOUR job as head of the department I will one day join to ensure that I can take classes :P Silly man. Anyway, I logged in and crap, beign rather pessimistic about getting my classes and lo and behold, ALL of them were available! WOO! I'm particularly happy that I get to take Writing Fiction: Intermediate. That class isn't offered very often at all.

I'll post my schedual later...right now I'm waiting for Kevin to come and pick me up so we can get dinner and stuffs.

And there was great rejoicing!

OMG SO HAPPY!!! So I went to work today...me and Emily did our usual "operation catch pervy bastard" routine. She went out onto the second floor first and looked for anyone there. She said there was a hindi/arabic guy being tutored. We decided to go the long way around, that way I'd be at the front, far away, and still be able to see into the glass room. As soon as we leave the stairwell, I see him, (who wasn't the guy Emily saw...in fact, she said that this guy wasn't even there when she first went out), right in front of me, talking to a girl. We immediately went downstaires and told Jackie. She called the cops and went upstaires, two cops following, and caught him, brought him downstairs, and put him in her office. She then had three of us walk by so I could look in the window and see if it was the same guy. Yup, it was. *glee* So now he's being charged with assualt, and tresspassing (neat considering he was in a public library). This means that if he's convicted, he'll be banned from the library. I have to go to court the 11th of May to testify...that'll be a new expirience. We even caught him talking to another girl who said that she didn't know him and he was creepy. He said that she had started talking to him >.> When we saw them, she wasn't saying anything.

Yah.

Creepy liar guy.

So now...I just wait...and kind of hope that I don't see him on campus. After he goes to criminal court, he'll be sent to student court because he's a student and by making me feel unsafe on campus, he is impeding on my learning. It's possible he could lose financial aid, I think. They didn't say that...I just think that something really bad for him will happen in student court, esspecially since our campus is trying really HARD to crack down on this sort of thing.

Spirit related ramblings.

After reading this, you have every right to think mommy should commit me. And sometimes I'm sure she'd agree.

For those who don't know, since about the time I was fifteen, I've pretty much KNOWN that in my past life (if not my FIRST life), I was a dragon. A big, purple, Earth element dragon. You now have permission to laugh. It does happen to be something I take seriously, but not like to the point that I'm all "Kill humans for hey killed my kind!" Believe it or not, there are lots of Draconics (don't blame me if the link doesn't take you to the right place), who think humans suck because psycologically they can't accept that that is what they are in this life. I have accepted it and moved on, and even though I don't think humans are the best species in the world, I don't want them to die in mass genocide. ANYWAY, the reason I bring this up is that lately I haven't felt like I'm anything. My spirit guid (the one I've seen since I was like 5) has basically been chased off. There's a long story behind it all that I don't feel like telling right now, but I had to make a choice, he accepted it, and he left. I've been having a lot of nightmares since he left. I suppose I wasn't quite strong enough to take on the demons myself...but my wolf is dealing (and yah, I have spiritual skitzophrenia, my soul is both dragon and wolf at the same time). This recent emptiness is different, however. Whenever the DORK boy (my boyfriend), talks about his dragon and what he looked like and how he acted and stuff...I want to scream at him to shoosh and cry because I cant' seem to remember any of this before. I used to remember exactly what she looked like and her personality, other dragons she knew. Now all I can remember is her color, she had a jewel in her forehead...and that's about it. I told all of this to Kevin last night because I've been groucy and mopey all week. He went onto a whole schpeal about how one can't change who they were and that I shouldn't doubt. He also said "I KNOW that I'm a dragon...and dragons know they're own kind. You feel like a dragon. Therefore, you are. And more importantly you're my dragon." I then began to bawl my little eyes out like the girl that I am. He can be terribly sweet when he wants to. I don't neciscarily feel any better today...something is still wrong. I just don't really know what it is.

Ah well...for now I shall chock it up to hormones.

New work day

I haven't gone into work yet...so I dunno what's going to happen. Hopefully police will be invovled and I will get the satysfaction of seeing him dragged off by officials while I utter nastey things about him in Russian. I can do that you know.

Last night I drempt about yelling at him in Arabic...this morning, Imani said I was kicking the wall angrily in my sleep.

^^;

Woo for subconscious!

The story continues

So I went to work and Me, Marion, and Jackie had a talk. There were a lot of appologies for me having to expirience this and general threats toward the guy (I feel like I have about five moms...including Kevin's bosses at A&T). She said that I had two choices:

1. Wear a security device that buzzes the front security desk and alerts the police to what floor I'm on in case I see him again. He would then get escorted out of the building.

2. Have Jackie go up there with the police and have him escorted out, and possibly banned.

Marion said she wanted me to wear the security thing whenever I'm alone anyway, just in case. Jackie also suggested as part of the second one, that she SQUISH the boy. I like the squishing. So tomorrow, around the time he's usually there, Jackie's going to go up there and have a look around. If she sees a guy that matches my description, (along with his friends), she's having them ALL taken out of the library. I think she's also filing a report with the police because he constitutes as a sex offender. Marion was a bit skeptical that they could ban him from the library, but Jackie is completely fighting for him to be kept out of the building perminately.

I'm a happy dragon right now.

This is mainly a messege to mommy

I was umm…assaulted…at the library today. There was this guy who kind of kept following me while I was shelving and he was apparently intent on having me watch him play with himself. He didn’t hurt/touch me, and he ran back to his chair next to his buddies when I told him to go away (ok, so it was more like “get the eff away from me”). This guy is a student, about my age, and his friends happen to be people that Choua (my friend) had class with, and she may actually know their names. I told Marion and today me, her, and the big boss lady are going to talk about what’s going to be done about it, and until everything is sorted out, she said that I’ll be no where near tower 2.

I’m fine…just a little paranoid of males right now.

I’ll update later when I get back from work.
